On 4/4/13 Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Archbishop of New York, visited and blessed the new Catholic Charities Facility in Middletown, NY.
The festive occasion marked the grand opening/ribbon cutting of the modern facility located at 305 North Street, in the building next to The Keck Group, Inc., the pre-imminent pew refinishing company in the country.
Bob Koeck, President of The Keck Group, Inc, and Keck Properties, LLC, owners of the building, tried to coerce the Cardinal to come next door to see his pews from St. Patrick’s Cathedral being refinished, but time was short, and he apologized for not being able to see the refinishing process first hand.
We were lucky, though, to get Msgr. Kevin Sullivan to get a look and comment on the progress of the project and the beautiful transformation of the grand old pews.
